Meet the Brighton Swimming School Team
Brighton Swimming School is owned by Paul Smith, the company's Managing Director, who founded the swimming school in 1988. On a day-to-day basis, the Swimming Centre is run and managed by Jade Gurr and Freya Bolingbroke and supported by Tia & Alice in the Swim School Office. For our lessons, we have supervisors who manage poolside, ASA Level 2 Teachers who run lessons and ASA Level 1 Teachers who assist these teachers. All sessions are then overseen by RLSS qualified lifeguards.
Brighton Swimming School is always looking to recruit well-qualified and motivated individuals for jobs in swimming teaching, assisting and lifeguarding. For all jobs, hours are flexible but largely required during the week after-school and at weekends. We can also provide great training opportunities to develop your skills, through our sister company, Swim UK. All staff are DBS checked. More information here.

Job Opportunities with Brighton Swimming School
Swimming TeacherBSS Swimming Teachers lead our lessons for both adults and children. Must hold ASA/UKCC Level 2 or STA Full Teacher.

RLSS LifeguardBSS Lifeguards are responsible for the overall safety of the swimming pool during lessons. Must hold NPLQ qualification.
|
Teaching AssistantBSS Assistant Teachers help run lessons in the water with a Level 2 teacher. Must hold or be willing to work for ASA Level 1.
