Meet the Brighton Swimming School Team
Brighton Swimming Centre (BSC) is owned by Paul Smith, the company's Managing Director, who founded the swimming school in 1988.
BSC is managed by Jade Gurr, Freya Bolingbroke and Michael Kruger. For our Brighton Swimming School (BSS) lessons, we have a Pool Supervisor who manages poolside, STA Level 2 Teachers and Swimming Teaching Assistants. All sessions are overseen by RLSS qualified Lifeguards.
BSS is always looking to recruit qualified and motivated individuals for jobs in swimming teaching, assisting and lifeguarding. For all jobs, hours are flexible but largely required during the week after-school and at weekends. We can also provide great training opportunities to develop your skills, through our sister company, Swim UK. All staff are DBS checked. More information here.

Job Opportunities with Brighton Swimming School
Swimming TeacherBSS Swimming Teachers lead our lessons for both adults and children. Must hold ASA/UKCC/Swim England Level 2 or STA Full Teacher.

RLSS LifeguardBSS Lifeguards are responsible for the overall safety of the swimming pool during lessons. Must hold NPLQ qualification.

Teaching AssistantBSS Assistant Teachers help run lessons in the water with a Level 2 teacher. Must hold or be willing to work for STA Swimming Teaching award.
