Our fantastic (and much loved by our customers) Swimming Teacher, Hildi, has accomplished the ultimate swimmer’s challenge: swimming the English Channel!
On the 29th July 2024, Hildi swimmed from England to France in 17 hours and 23 minutes. Fewer than 2,000 individuals have completed this feat in the 149 years, with Captain Matthew Webb first accomplishing it. Hildi trained for over 5 years and succeded with the help of her pilots and crew.
Hildi has and continues to raise money for two good causes, both in memory of friends who have passed away.
