Pool Closure - COVID-19

19/3/2020

Dear Customer,

Our thoughts are with all who have been impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.

As part of our enduring commitment to the health and safety of our customers, employees and surrounding communities, we have decided to temporarily close the centre from Sunday 22nd March at 20.15pm until Monday 6th April 2020.

We have reached this decision after considerable thought and input from our valued team. Following this latest news, we will be issuing all customers who are currently booked into Swim School and Pool to Pier with two weeks of credit for the two remaining weeks of term.

We will be running our Easter intensive courses from Monday 6th April and Tuesday 14th April and will be limiting the number of people who can book to five at any one time.

Some of the times of our intensive lessons may change slightly and we will notify those who have already booked regarding that. We will also keep in contact with everyone who has currently booked into the intensive lessons should anything change in the coming weeks.

NHS and public lane swimming as well as Lane Lights will all be cancelled after Sunday 22nd March. If you are booked into any of the upcoming Lane Lights sessions, we will be offering all customers priority to book onto a different session.

Furthermore, we will be commencing our summer term a week later than originally scheduled, starting on Monday 27th April and recommencing Swim School, Pool to Pier, NHS Swims, Lane Lights and Public lane swimming at that time. Our half term break will be as originally planned from Monday 25th May to Sunday 31st May and we will end the term on Sunday 26th July (a week later than scheduled).

We will continue to monitor the situation and will be reviewing the decision of when to re-open the centre daily. We will also keep you informed by email and be posting information on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

We are extremely grateful for your ongoing support over the years and throughout these worrying times and it is with deep sadness that we have to close the centre, however we feel this is the best decision for everyone at this time.

I would like to finish by saying that we wish you and your families the very best and look forward to seeing you all again in April.

Take and Give Care,
