The Pool to Pier programme is led by the following main instructors:

He is the owner of Brighton Swimming School and Swim UK. Being an avid all year round sea swimmer himself, he is passionate about introducing more people to sea swimming. Paul swam in the first Worthing to Brighton swim in 2007 and can always be found regularly throughout the year going for a swim off of Brighton beach. He was also a part of the BBC's Countryfile feature on sea swimming in Brighton in April 2010.
Senior Open Water Coach
He is a qualified Swimming Teacher, Swimming Coach and a dedicated sea swimmer. Rod trains all year round just off the south coast putting in thousands of kilometers. He currently works with swimmers of all ages and abilities and is passionate about passing on his knowledge to others and promoting what he considers the best sport in the world.
Open Water Coach

She is
a qualified swimming teacher, triathlon coach and has has participated in triathlon herself for 4 years. Angela has had the pleasure of competing in many amazing open water venues such as Rutland Water, Eton Rowing Lake, The Thames River, The Serpentine Lake in Hyde Park and the ExCeL (Royal Victoria) Dock in London to name but a few. She has worked with both adults and children teaching them to swim and to compete and is extremely excited to be a part of this programme.

He is a qualified lifeguard who swims in the sea daily. Adrian is a highly experienced sea swimmer and is hugely enthusiastic about open water swimming.
